Using Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat
Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat (formerly Copilot or Bing Chat Enterprise) can be used free of charge by employees and students. Copilot Chat is based on GPT-4o, the AI model from OpenAI. Agents, however, are not approved for use as their use is subject to a fee.
To ensure data security, it is imperative that you log in to Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat with your M365 account (employees/students).
Be sure to note!
To ensure data security, it is imperative that you log in to Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat with your M365 account (employees/students) . Only then can you use Copilot Chat securely and it is guaranteed that the data you enter will not be used by Microsoft to train base models.
Important: No confidential data, personal data or sensitive data may be entered in the Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat prompt (input field).

Sign in to https://copilot.cloud.microsoft with your M365 account (employees or students). |
Check the following points after registration…

Make sure that you are signed in to Microsoft 365 Copilot with your university account. You can verify this by clicking on your name in the upper right corner.

By moving the mouse pointer over the green shield, you can verify whether you are protected by Enterprise data protection.
